  i have stated in other posts that i am a vietnam veteran.

  when studying, i was told how "stupid" i was for going off to that war long ago.

  even though i was often made to feel less a person because of my military service, i still was baptized and eventually, saw the light and left the borg.. i also belong to a yahoo message group comprised of fellow veterans that i served with long ago.

  well, according to the people in my hall, us "sisters" are pretty damn helpless.

  our hall is being remodelded, so last night during the announcements, the brother said, "we need as many brothers as we can get to help with doing the work this weekend..." then he has the sheer audacity to say, "and we will also need some sisters to clean up the mess afterwards.

  This show how diffrent things is, here in our cong in sweden it is the Laydies who is the strong ones, doing evrything inn the kingdom hall, coming first leaving last, doing evrything, but sweden is swedebn i think the most equal cuontry on earth.
  I often is very confused when i read things you tell from diffrent parts of the word, here it is complitly diffretn inn many ways, this show that whow it is inn the word around us have a very bigg influense even on JW, so i can tell you as complin move to sweden......

  I have bigg respekt for you expiriensis, and understand that it is a bigg sorrow to have been involvd in such things. But i can not accept that we must obey this wordley kings and go to countrys like wietnam to kill peopel who we dont now, and only beaucause someone told us. Here inn Sweden we have a lot of peopel from Vietnam, and the picture they give from this war is terribel, i think it is vey sad that this military system have so bigg power over peopel, and this nationalism is a bigg poison. Money is a bigg thing in this, power over this also, and evry bigg nation is using nationalism to motivate ther peopel to do horribel things,for me this is a very bigg issu,and the only religion who i find is saying now to this is JW, and i dont talk abauot smal gruops like menonites, worwide inn almost evry country, learnig man and women dont go aout in war kill ech other.
  I new your point and respekt them, but i think you wrong, when it come to religions.

  but i have some major points ,if you say fantasy,i dont need to put down scriptures for you I think who show this OR?
  If we read the bibel we can sure find a lot of diffrent answers,i think you must look for a religion who have the best overlokk,on it all.
  when i read the bibel it fits very good widh a hevanly govermeant over the earth,i dont belevi in this new born christians talk ,we will walk on streets of gould,when the rest are burning inn hell.
  I think you forget that JW have one of the most resonebel teching when it comes to what will happend in harmageddon,we can not be blind for what happend to the mankind in Noas time ,or in jerusalem year 70.
  and that as we understan it all people even the bad one is coming back inn the 1000 years kingdom,much more loving than what the curch tell, I never see anyone tell this, even a lot of former JW are now belive in this terribel burning hell teori.I have discuss this to some on unother bord, and suddenly they think it is okey that the Lord are burning man and woman and children for ever, unbelevebal, and very hypocrytikal when they say we have a cruel point on this.
  Who nows Amaizing perhaps we have new light on this,i also have difficult to understan what the bibel say on this, but i am confident that Jehva taking care on this things in a good way.
  As we all now,hmmmm ...gov body sometimes dont have the whole picture,
  as when it come to this generation thing.
  As i say before the most important thing is to bee outside nationalism poison,dont take part in political things,Dan 2:44 and rev who say the Lord must akt and take away this wordley kings who destroy the earth.
  I dont think I need to tell you US history,hiroshima, Atomic bombs who they use even in peace time and hurt a lot of peopel, even if it was testing.
  nixon history,Vietnam ,supporting polpot the worst murder ever, eeven support bin laden few years ago,ofcourse this is politics, trying to protect ther one intrests,and this dubbel standard, one face inn the free word and one face inn the third word,and now i think Bush is playing a very dangerus game who can putt the word inn a dissaster.
  I have always belive that we are all brothers and sisters, we are not better because we are fron any special place inn the word, or mor evel.

  i am writing in reply to your letter of the 22 nov 2001.. i had previously written with concern over some statements found in the aug 1, 2001 watchtower pg 14 which stated, a mature christian does not advocate or insist on personal opinions or harbour private ideas when it comes to bible understanding.

  you asked me not to take the statement out of context, but failed to explain clearly how i had done so.. it is my understanding that it is believed that the governing body of jehovahs witnesses has the sole responsibility and is the sole channel that can understand and teach gods message in the bible.

  Good post, and intresting qestions,i think yopu can send this and see if you have som answer. As a ongoing JW i have notic this step by step
  thinking we are the only who understand , dont think this is so good.Something change sens resoning book sing on site 108, WE ARE NOT INSPIRED PROFHETS.We hade also some wrong expaktaitions.

  when so much peopel say jw is a cult,comperd to the most religions we are very diffrent yes.. but if we go back to christ and was he was teching,you must say this was a cult to, he was telling he was the only one, a remark as you say on a cult, he was saying he come from the lord also a remark as you say,he was telling you must obey him also a remark on a cult as you say, he say if you dont se him as the son of the lord you have no life ,also a remark on a cult as you say,and he say he give his follower power from heaven, oups this is a very bigg remark on a cult.. littel confusing isnt is?

  This was only a few who show it is only a ew who willbe saved,thats what the bibelsay,you can not be blind for this,even if it is hard to understand.So iof you are unest you must agree that the first christians was wery diffrent,so diffrent that they putt them to lions and wild beasts. But ofcourse you no this widh your expiriens as a JW,
